According to the Lagos State Ministry of Health, on Wednesday, 37 patients have fully recovered from Coronavirus and were discharged. After two consecutive times of testing negative to the virus, they were all released from an isolation center at Yaba, Onikan & Eti-Osa. Among 37 patients there are 19 females and 18 males, including one Indian.
This marks the total recovered cases in Lagos to 358.
On Tuesday, the total cases infected with Coronavirus in Lagos were 1242 with 43 new cases. But in the same day, the State has also discharged 60 patients and recorder 1 death. Up until now, the State is monitoring 835 active cases, while there are 358 patients have fully recovered and 31 deaths in the whole state.
With the gradual easing of lockdown in Lagos, the State Government still recommended that citizens should comply with the health safety principles. While wearing face mask is being largely complied by the public, some Lagosians still infringe the distancing order at public places such as bus stop, banks or markets.
On Monday, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 emphasized that citizens need to follow the principles in order to reduce the infected cases.
